Today

A PEACEFUL LANDMARK

Today, the temple and visitors’ center continue to welcome guests in a quiet garden setting.

Distinctive Design

The Paris France Temple was designed to feel at home in its setting.

Church Newsroom says its architecture blends into French culture, uses warm-toned Portuguese limestone, and does not have an angel Moroni because of local height restrictions.

It also features a Christus statue in the garden.

What Temples Mean to Us

Temples are sacred places where we draw closer to God and Jesus Christ.

House of the Lord

Temples are places set apart for worship, reverence, and sacred promises with God.

Eternal Families

Temples teach that family relationships can continue beyond this life.

Peace & Revelation

A temple is a place to feel peace, seek guidance, and draw nearer to Christ.

Jesus Christ

Everything about the temple is meant to point one’s heart and mind to Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

Experience It for Yourself

The temple grounds and Visitors’ Center are open to all. Come feel the peace, walk the gardens, and discover why this place means so much to so many. The temple page confirms that a visitors’ center is on site and open to the public.
